Behavior Management
Kindergarten uses a color chart to help students monitor their behavior. Each day the student
will start in the green color zone. If the child shows exceptionally good behavior, they may be
asked to move name/clip to the beautiful blue. If the student is having difficulty following
the rules, their name/clip may be moved to yellow, and then, if necessary, to red. If a student
is on red, a phone call to a parent will be made. The students behavior is documented daily
in their homework/communication folder. Parents must initial daily that they have viewed
their childs classroom behavior chart.
