1. In another set of Annotations where I continue to hold-off on getting back to my


analysis of the Peal stem, I offer here a helpful chart that compares the Aramaic
vowel paradigms to their Hebrew counterparts. Hopefully, if you have any
background in Hebrew (which my Annotations do not presuppose and which the
site GettingAramaic does not presuppose), this may be helpful. Even if you have
no background in Hebrew, this table might just be an impetus to get you going
that direction or if you plan on studying it in the future, it will prove helpful in
using Aramaic to understand Hebrew. Either way, the hope is that it’s useful.
