Class Rules
1. Respect everyone, even yourself
2. Do your best
3. Follow directions
4. Stay seated unless you have permission
5. Raise your hand to speak

Positive Class Management

Students collect stars or stamps in personal binder
which is kept in their personal cubby in the
classroom.
Stamps or stars are collected for good behavior;
good behavior can be not breaking any of the class
rules or can be child specific if the need arises
Simple rewards can be earned like:

PAT (personal activity time)

Toys from treasure chest

Ect depending on the childs response.

Math
Alex visits me for both writing and
math pullout groups. Alexs class
has art during our regular math
time on Wednesdays. Alexs class
also has silent reading time on
Fridays instead of their regular
writing time.

Rewards
Vary depending on childs interests.
Weekly ie 5 stars in specific focus group earns the right to use a colored
pen or pencil on classwork for the next five meetings.
Take Alexs chart for example though the student earned 5 stars
total they will not be able to use a color on their classwork.
10 consecutive stars earns the student PAT time.
15 consecutive stars earns the student a prize or a snack from the
treasure chest.
Restarts each quarter.

The Warning
Non-disruption is the key
Warning card

Silently place the warning card in

front of the student.
This card can be taken away of the
student stops the behavior.

Rule broken + behavior form

If the student did not respond to the
warning card you then give them a
card with the rule number they
broke and the behavior form which
they will fill out on their own time.
