Flowers for Adrian formed in December of 2002 in the suburbs of Scranton, Pennsylvania. The guys
bonded over their love of things from their childhood such as Tinker Toys, Atari and the Teenage Mutant
Ninja Turtles. They originally started with a heavy metal sound, but ventured over to indie rock with the
addition of their keyboardist and saxophone player.

The recording and production of their first, self-released album, Down With Shredder, was totally funded
by the guitarist’s grandmother, Adrian, who also allowed the band to practice in her basement. As
repayment for her generosity the band members regularly brought her flowers to put around her house.
Hence the band’s name, Flowers for Adrian.

Members of the band are guitarist and lead vocalist, Leo Jones; keyboardist, Donnie Hallahan; bassist,
Mike Pickman; Saxophonist, Spencer Ryan and drummer Ralph Lee. For more information please visit the
