Students Responsibility
It is expected that students will sustain interest and concentrate on a given task
for an extended period of time and demonstrate appropriate behavior required for
the program.
It is expected that students will be eager to research and gather information and
show genuine interest in topic, projects, and learning.
It is expected that students will spend some time during evenings, weekends and
vacations devoted to fulfilling their assigned responsibilities.
It is expected that children will work independently and/or cooperatively with their
peers.
It is expected the students will always come to class prepared and complete all
assignments with effort and on time.
Parents Responsibility
It is expected that parents will encourage and support their children in their
endeavors. This may include enabling them to go to public libraries, supervising
students research on the Internet, and taking them to cultural institutions and
museums.
Parents must understand that this is a child based program and all work must be
done by the child.
Teachers Responsibility
It is expected that teachers will guide students as they explore their topics. They
will support and encourage the students in their independent and cooperative
work. Teachers will act as advisors as students construct their own knowledge.
