SANDY SPRINGS RECREATION & PARKS
Registration starts March 15, 2010
These 5-day dance and theatre residencies are part of the Kids and Arts
program funded by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners under
guidance of the Fulton Arts Council and the Sandy Springs Recreation
and Parks Department. Participants will have an opportunity to receive
an in-depth, hands on artistic experience they might not
otherwise be exposed to.

Moving Together- Developing trust, movement vocabulary and expressing ideas through the process
of partnering, dance and theatrical collaboration
(Co-ed Grade 9th - 12th)
Session: June 7 - 11 - Monday - Friday, 9 - 10:00 a.m. or 10:15 - 11:15 a.m. FREE
Storeography- Discovering one’s individual style of expressive movement and experimenting with the choreographic
process
(Co-ed Grades 9th - 12th)
Session: June 7 - 11 - Monday - Friday, 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. or 1 - 2 p.m. FREE
Mime Theatre- Using one’s body to convey imaginary objects and situations
(Co-ed Grades 9th - 12th)
Session: June 16, June 17, June 18, June 21 and June 22 -

9 - 10:00 a.m. or 10:15 - 11:15 a.m. FREE
Mask-Making- Learning how masks are used with dramatic narratives along with
an opportunity to create a mask.
