REFLECTION PAPER

Since i was just a little girl, I was led to thinking that school is the only place for
learning. I've always thought that without going to school, i won't be able to acquire all
the knowledge or skills I would need in my life. I thought that learning in school is the
only way i could be a successful person in the future. As years go by, i had experiences
that gradually change my mind set. I realized that learning is not just isolated in the four
corners of a classroom. My mind opened up to the thought of learning by exploring and
communicating. They say that no man is an island. That a man can never live or survive
without any person around him/her. I believe that it's true because sometimes, we get to
learn a lot of things just by talking to some people. We do not just talk about general
knowledge but also values and beliefs. Communicating itself teaches us a lesson. We
are not just human beings but also social beings. We must take into consideration the
fact that we can never learn alone. We also need to go out there and learn by mingling
with other people and exploring all the possibilities. Everything that we learned from
school, need not to stay in our minds only. We learned them so that we are able to apply
them in our daily lives. Let us not keep the things we know stagnant. We must execute
them to learn better and also helps us to be ready of what will be ahead of us.
