    BUWIS BUHAY, TEACHING IN OUTLYING AREAS
    A REACTION PAPER

    People tend to overlook the fact that Education plays an


    important role in not just the system in the Philippines but to the
    whole world. I felt loveso much love was put by the Iconic
    Teacher to the students of the outlying area, impassioned to
    enlarge a persons holistic formation. By education, doors open
    to allow in more light to peoples horizons. I have inclined to
    believe that there is no substitute for education and people
    should not simply teach education itself but give them
    something worth learningsomething that would help people
    make sense of their own lives and encourage them to reach out
    towards people whose lives are quite different from their own.
