You can apply this
in the classroom
whenever there is

This would be a
fun way to end the
class with students
competing against
each other to see
who is the quickest
at math problems.

Pros: It teaches fast memorization of addition,


subtraction, multiplication, and division. It is a fun
way to learn and memorize quick math concepts.
Cons: Students could possibly get off focus with the
added games on the app that arent as helpful with
learning. Students could get too competitive and may
get out of hand.

SPLASH MATH
You can apply this in the
classroom by using this as
a formative assessment.
This is an easy way for the
teacher to see how
students are
understanding the material
and if they are improving or
not.

Pros: It is great assessment that is easy to grade for the teacher because all
the results are recorded when the students take the quizzes. The quizzes
have fun designs that can keep the student somewhat engaged and gives them
rewards after taking the quizzes.
Cons: It is not as engaging and fun as most apps. It is basically a quiz but
without pencil and paper.

Aaah! Math Zombies

This would be a great time at the end of class to play a fun game
that helps students learn and memorize addition skills. Students
would love this game, so it would be a great way of rewarding
them that they can play if they have good behavior.

Hungry Fish

Pros: Students get to learn what numbers they can


put together to equal the number the fish has to eat.
This expands their minds as they think of different
ways to feed a fish while staying engaged.
Cons: It does not keep a record of how well students
are doing. So the only way a teacher can make
assessments in informatively.
