Solar System

Learning Objective: At the end of fifty minutes, the students will be able
to create a solar system model with 90% accuracy.
Task:
Let the students view a video about the galaxy, particularly the solar
system and sanction them to identify the nine different planets. Then, group
the students into three and given the materials like Christmas balls with
varying sizes, wires, paints and glue, task them to design and make a solar
system model to help a stranded alien friend from Neptune get back home.
The situation goes like this: Before heading home, your new alien friend
needs toward the sun to achieve the gravitational pull he will need to get
back home, so the model must include all the main elements of the solar
system such as the sun, planets and moon/s. The students will be rated
through the level below:

Task:
Show the students the pictures about the lunar phases of the moon.
Individually, let them draw the phases of the moon in a short bond paper and
