Career e-Portfolio Website (200 points; 25% of final grade)

Students will create a personal career website, using the host service weebly.com. Required
web pages and required career documents are listed below. Students will email the URL of their
completed career website to the professor by Thursday, November 19.
We will review and work on website creation in class on October 22.
Website requirements:
Your weebly Career Website should include a minimum of four pages. The pages should have a
professional appearance and should be error-free:
1. Home
2. About
3. Contact
4. Career Portfolio Documents
Page Details
1. Home page: include a theme and your name
2. About page: write a brief professional introduction about yourself and/or your website
3. Contact page: include your contact information on this page
4. Career Portfolio Documents (required):
Upload these files to your Career Portfolio Documents page in Word or PDF format.
a. Cover Letter
b. Resume
c. Reference List
d. Thank you Letter
e. Business Memo
f. 30-Second Commercial
g. Request for Letter of Recommendation
h. Business card (not required; extra credit)
Optional Documents:
1. Letters of Recommendation written about you (These are NOT required for the BUAD
202 e-Portfolio Website assignment. However, if you have them, include them on your
site.)
2. There are many other documents that one might include on your e-portfolio. These are
not required for the BUAD 202 assignment, but keep them in mind as your update your
portfolio each semester: Awards, certificates; Completed generic application; Copy of ID
and/or drivers license; Copy of DMV record; Current state licenses; Network list;
Performance appraisals; Transcripts; and Work samples
Submission Requirements:
Email the URL of your completed career website to the professor by Thursday, November 19.
Grading: e-Portfolio will be graded on: the professional appearance of your website; the
inclusion of the four required web pages; the inclusion of the required document files; and the
quality of each career document that is posted.
