Learnings from Te Ao Mori to manage grief Sessions October, November Mary Potter Hospice Porirua welcomes you to a series of free sessions on healing grief. Please come and listen to some very special Mori storytellers share wisdom from te Ao Mori that support all of us in times of sadness and loss. The programme is facilitated by Vanessa Eldridge, Mori Liaison (Ngti Kahungunu, Rongomaiwahine). If somebody close to you has died, life has changed for you. The grief of bereavement may bring strong, unexpected and sometimes painful feelings. Grief is a normal, natural process of healing. Our October storyteller is Tau Huirama. Tau was born in the Waikato. He is of Hapu Ngati Tamainupo and Ngati Manaipoto heritage. Growing up and around the marae Tau was immersed in vibrant and inspirational story telling with lessons on strength and resourcefulness. He has held national leadership and chef executive roles with several non government social sector organisations. He runs a consultancy Te Mauri Te Kore specialsing in cultural advice, training, coaching and mentoring business. Sessions will be held at Mary Potter Hospice, Porirua: 1a Prosser Street, Elsdon, Porirua.
