Plot: 4 siblings are sent to live with a professor when they home is no longer safe due to war.
While playing inside the youngest sibling finds a wardrobe that is actually a door for another
world. They all end up going inside and encounter adventure and danger in Narnia.
Setting: A mythical place called Narnia, which is entered through a wardrobe.
Theme: Wonder and family
Characterization: There are characterizations that are flat out given to you, and then the actions
of the characters define who they are even further.
Style: The text is simple yet effective. It is easy to follow and has a good amount of detail.
Point of View: 3rd person
Describe Characteristics of this text specific to the genre: Strong themes and interesting
characters. It has memorable moments that last a life time.
Reflection: The story is very unique and unpredictable. It is filled with fantasy and adventure. It
is a great book for students transitioning into longer books.
