With reference to your advertisement as posted in the Jobstreet.com website on 29 September
2015, I wish to apply for the position of Account Assistant Manager in your company.
I will graduate with a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in
2017. My formal education and working experience have adequately prepared me with the skills
and knowledge required for this position.
Some of the courses that I took such as Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting and Accounting
Information System have given me a strong background in my field of study. In addition, I have
mastered computer skills and am familiar with several software programme such as Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and Tally 9.
My part time jobs as a sales assistant at Vitacare Pharmacy and an account assistant at ASF
Management has provided me a lot of knowledge and skills such as managerial skills and valuable
clerical.
My involvement in extra-curricular activities at university has strengthened my interpersonal skills,
which taught me how to communicate with people effectively and learn how to influence people. I
also have developed confidence through my participation in the International Business Market
programme and other activities at university. Besides, I possess good written and verbal
communication skills in Malay and English. I believe that my work experience and involvement in
extra-curricular activities will be extremely relevant to the position of an account assistant manager
at your company.
