To whom it may Concern:
As a current sophomore in the Mary Lou Fulton Teacher College at Arizona State University, I am excited and eager to seek a position teaching Kindergarten within the district, should an opportunity arise. I am extremely passionate about teaching, I volunteer at a local preschool which I love however, my ultimate goal has always been to work with Kindergarteners. I want to give the opportunity to challenge, inspire, and help prepare them for their educational experience. As, a future educator, I strive to teach my future students to be fantastic leaners whom have the 21st century skills that are necessary to be intellectual, personal, emotional, and social individuals who are ready for a rapidly changing society, and I am extremely excited to share life experiences with my students. During my time volunteering in a pre-school I have taken on many different tasks and assignments in which have made me a better teacher, leader, and organizer. I addition to volunteering at the preschool, I have worked with special needs students while I was going to high school. I developed a great bond with these students. Throughout my college years I have attended many workshops that have made me grow a deeper passion for teaching. I have a true passion for teaching Kindergarten and working with students of all ages, but I am especially excited to possibly have an opportunity to share this knowledge and enthusiasm with students at the elementary level. Thank you for your time, and I hope to hear from you soon. Sincerely, Victoria Hawkins
