For generations, San Franciscos natural beauty and
character has been enhanced by some of the countrys
best work in architecture. But in recent years, and
especially in the Citys eastern neighborhoods, there
has been a wave of repetitive, mediocre building designs
that emphasize mass and minimize imagination.
