Budget Analyst/Finance Dept
The position assists the Finance Management team in these Key Areas:
Analyze current financial information for a $20 million dollar nonprofit organization.
Design a budget analysis system within a 2 week period
Develop budgets/trends, works with operations in developing and
reporting productivity results, prepares monthly reports, and
conducts monthly cost review with department heads.
Prepares and presents analyses, assists in the monthly financial
close. Distributes the daily activity report to division management
and prepares ad hoc reports.
Implement monthly budget analysis, provides guidance in resolving
budget issues and creates reporting systems.
Assist Department heads in transition annual contract budget into
Fee for Service Budgets.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 5 years
of work experience.
Must be highly proficient in Excel.
Excellent communication skills with proven ability to be clear and
concise and to influence and understand their audience.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to extract data and have an understanding or relational data
base concepts to merge, transfer files to meaningful creation of
reports.
