Unit: Grade one Earth Science: Earths Natural Resources: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

SC Standards: 1.E.4B.2 Obtain and communicate information to explain ways natural resources can be
conserved (such as reducing trash through reuse, recycling, or replanting trees).

ISTE: 2. Design and develop digital age learning experiences and assessment.
2B. Develop technology enriched learning environments that enable all students to pursue their individual
curiosities and become active participants in setting their own educational goals, manage their own
learning, and assessing their progress.

SAMR: Augmentation- Using technology to present Qr Reader codes to talk about the 3rs reduce, reuse,
and recycle.

Application: We used a qr reader code generator. We had to do ten of them and I chose the topic Reduce,
Reuse, Recycle

Critique: I enjoyed this project because I havent ever had much experience with the qr readers it is really
easy to work with and I like that you can pull a website and the information that fast, I would like to use
this with my kids as well.
