    Site Proposal English 102

    In the next few weeks, you will be making your first “site visit”, but before this happens
    you need to pick a site to visit. The following questions are designed to help you not only
    pick a site, but also help you present the possibilities that your chosen site has for further
    research. Your Site Proposal should follow proper MLA format and answer the questions
    below:

    Introduction (2 paragraphs) addresses these questions:

     What is your proposed research site?

     Why did you choose this site?

     What do you know about your site?

     What do you NOT know about your site?

     What assumptions do you and others have about your site?

    Purpose and Connections (2 or more paragraphs) addresses these questions specifically:

     What do you aim to discover through your research?

     Who are the Literacy Sponsors at the site you have chosen?

     Are the Literacy Sponsors Individuals or Institutions, are they Positive or Negative?

     Is there some way in which your research might be able to serve the community in some way?
