Title: A Picture Book of Davy Crockett

Author: David A. Adler
Synopsis: At the age of twelve Davy Crockett learned how to shoot a
rifle, as he grew up he won almost all the shooting matches he entered
and also became a well-known storyteller. Davy Crockett was so
wonderful that he was liked by almost everyone and was very popular.
After being elected three terms in the House of Representatives, and
defeated in the congressional election of 1835, Davy Crockett wanted a
new adventure. So he settled up his horse and rode to Texas, where he
fought and died in the famous Battle of the Alamo.
