The career I would like to have when I grow up would be to be a marine biologist.
Marine biology is scientific study of organisms living in or dependent on the oceans. I
picked to study marine biology because I would like to study the life of sea animals and
how they can depend on human beings to be safe.
To study marine biology I would have to take 6 years of education. A college
nearby where I can study marine biology is UC San Diego. To be an Entry-level jobs in
marine biology require at least a bachelor's degree in biology. A master's degree can equip you
to attain higher-paying consulting, teaching or research jobs. A marine biology Ph.D. is needed
for most marine biology-specific careers in independent research and college-level teaching.

A Marine Biologist salary per year is 51,630. The highest top 10% of marine
Biologist in the United States earn up to 124,680 dollars per year. To receive my PH.D I
would have to take three to four years that focusses on research that leads to the
publication of original work. To retire being a marine biologist will take me 10-15 years of
experience.
Marine Biology will be a good opportunity for me to learn more about the
creatures that live with us under water that we dont know about and discover many
ways to keep them alive for as long as we can.
