Industrial Revolution
The industrial revolution went from 18th century to the 19th century.
During that time agrarian and rural societies in Europe and America went
from industrial to urban. The manufacturing was done in homes or small
rural shops. So industrialization then kicked in.
Industrialization made everything different it went from using hands
and tool and basic machines to shift to power, special purposes machinery,
factories and mass production. Also the iron, textile industries, and steam
engine were big roles in the industrial revolution. They led to improved
systems
of
transportations,
communication,
and
banking.
The
industrialization also brought a variety of manufactured goods and the start
of interchangeable parts.
Eli Whitney invented the interchangeable. They were pre manufactured
parts that were for all practical uses, in firearms industry. In the 19 th century
Whitney used them to assemble muskets. It helped unskilled workers to
produce large numbers of weapons quickly.
In the industrial revolution most of the rural societies became urban
societies. The manufacturing changed from small shops to factories. Also
from using hands and tools to heavy machinery. And the creation of
interchangeable parts.
