The Industrial Revolution developed modern manufacturing through the creation of factories that enabled mass production through fast assembly lines. While factories exploited workers through long hours, dangerous conditions, and illness-causing environments, it ultimately led to improved modern working conditions such as workers' rights, minimum wage, child labor laws, and health inspections. Factories continue to be important for production today.

Unit 3 Essay Two
The Industrial Revolution developed modern manufacturing. It did so by being the era in which factories were first created. Factories made mass production and made these objects fast. However having factories meant it needed workers. This era had many bad things that created good things for today. Workers were worked long hours with low pay. The working environment was dangerous because of the machines. There was unclean materials that made workers ill. This all resulted in modern working conditions. Workers consultation, minimum wage, age limits and health inspections. Factories are still used for production.
