The technological capitalism has helped so much to America, a lot of American scientific has
developed new things for humanity and after all that gives certain high quality to the country.
Today we live in a world of economic globalization shaped by America and the West.
Karl Marx noted the impact of the West in transforming developing countries for the better in
nineteenth century. He credited colonialism with transforming feudal society into modern
industrial society. But progressives rejected this aspect of Marx, because he seems to say that
while colonialism is theft, the theft was historically necessary as part of modernizing processes.
What is needed today is the same spirit that enabled earlier generations not only to adapt to the
change but to thrive in it; America can compete effectively on the global track.
