    Defect Resolution types: After receiving defect report from testing team the development team

    is conducting a review meeting to fix that defect and then sending resolution type to testing
    team.There are 12 types as
    *duplicate: test engineer reported defect rejected due to similarity with previously
    reported defect.
    *enhancement: the test engineer reported defect rejected due to relation with future
    requirements of customer.
    *s/w limitation: rejected due to relation with limitation of s/w technology (ex 2 GB->999
    records only).
    *h/w limitation: rejected due to relation with limitation of h/w technology.
    *not applicable: rejected due to wrong test case execution.
    *functions as designed: rejected due to correctness of coding w.r.t design documents.
    *need more information: defect is not accepted and not rejected but developers require
    more information to understand a defect properly.
