The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of manual therapy on Pain, Knee

Flexion and Activity in young adults for Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome.

Objectives of the study:

1. To evaluate the efficacy of manual therapy which includes transverse friction

massage to the lateral retinaculum, tilt patellofemoral stretches and sustained

medial glide to the lateral retinaculum in subjects with PFPS.

2. To check whether there is any decrease in pain, increase in ROM and

improvement in function after giving manual therapy techniques to the

subjects with PFPS.
