    To get a visa you have to hold a passport.

    Passport applications must be submitted to the diplomatic missions and consular


    posts of Romania.
    Personal application only.
    The documents needed are : identity card, fees receipt of the fees for getting a
    passport, the old passport (if the applicant already has one).
    The passport application is processed and granted in 14 days, not more than 30
    days.
    Passport processing and granting fees: 446 RON/99 EUR

    Visa applications must be submitted to the diplomatic missions and consular


    posts of Romania.
    Personal application only.
    Documents needed: a passport valid for at least 6 months, visa application form, 2
    photos of the applicant, a letter from work outlining the applicants income and his
    position in the company, proof of the round-trip flight booking.
    Application and consular fees: 270 RON/60 EUR.
    The passport application is processed in 15 days.
