To tap these welded (glued) sounds:


The consonant in the front of the word gets one
finger tap, and
for the welded sounds you tap 3 fingers glued
together.
To mark these welded (glued) sounds:
draw a box around the welded (glued) sound

Friday, November 6th-> Chapter 2 Math test
Please have your child continue to practice reading and writing the words and sentences on the CVC
(consonant, vowel, consonant) and glued sounds (-am, -an), f,l,s bonus letter and all glued sound,
base word + suffix s, -ng welded sound word lists.
-Please make sure to initial all homework.
-The children should be filling out their Reading Log each night writing all the titles that they have
read.
A letter was sent with your childs GOMATH username and password. This can be used at home as a
supplement to our Math curriculum by providing grade specific math instruction.
Reminder:
Tuesday, November, 3rd-> No School for Election Day
Thursday, November 5th-> 11:25 dismissal for Parent Teacher Conferences
Tuesday, November 10th-> Personal Narrative Publishing Party 8:45-9:45-An invitation will follow.
