Whole Group Instruction

Description of Strategy
Any type of whole group instruction for
example: using the Elmo projector, doing a
writing or math lesson together as a group.

Stations- Literacy and Math

Dividing the students up into groups with six


stations that are done over a span of two days.
The rotations last about 15 minutes each.

RtI Time

Working with students on specific subjects


that extra assistance is needed in.

Small Group Instruction

Working with a small group on a subject or


skill that all of the students need more
attention and assistance with.

Formative Assessment

Observing and monitoring student learning


during a lesson and then providing feedback
or assisting with further help understanding
the concept.

Summative Assessment

Reading assessment, spelling tests, science


tests, math tests.
