    DETAILS OF TEST AND INSPECTION:

    Visual Inspection: Appearance is satisfactory, free from


    blisters/cracks/ovality/damages.
    Dimensional Verification: Tolerance Limit as per the IS: 4318.
    Mechanical Tests: Compressive/Bending/Tensile Strength Test Results:
    Satisfactory
    Mallet Test results: OK. No hair cracking sound heard.
    Heat Treatment Results: After completion of temp. Cycle immersion, no
    crack or loosening of insulator found.
    Temp. Cycle: 90C, 160C, 210C
    Electrical Tests: Power Frequency one minute withstand voltage: Dry at
    72kV
    Porosity Test: No dye-penetration observed on the
    unglazed surfaces of the insulators.
