 Write a paragraph by answering the following questions. Do not copy


the questions on your report. Type it, using font 14 and space 1.5
between the lines.

- What book are you reading? What is it about?


- Who wrote it?
- Who published it?
- How many pages does it have?
- Where and when was it printed?
- Why did you choose it?

 Write a composition (at least 400 words) about the book


you chose. Remember to tell the most relevant aspects of
the story. Do it in a way that the reader(s) will have a clear
idea of what the book is about. Finish your composition by
expressing your opinions about the level of difficulty /
interest you had while reading the story.

 GLOSSARY: Make a list of 10 words you learnt or are


important in the text. Each word will be used according
to the following procedures:

- The word as the grammar component


(verb/adjective/preposition/etc.)
- Meaning used in the text.
- The word in a sentence from the book. Make sure the
sentence is in quotation marks.
- A meaningful sentence on your own words.

Check the model in the other slide.

 Word # 1: glance
 Grammar component: Noun
 Meaning in the text: a quick look

 Example (book): “ When the man and the woman who are
strangers to each other exchange glances, their most natural
reaction is to look away, usually with embarrassment.”

 My example: I believe that a simple glance can reveal much


about a person.
