Industrial Revolution

The Industrial Revolution was the introduction of machines to America. Before machines
were invented, work by children and adults was needed in order to ensure enough food, clothing,
and shelter for all.
The increase in demand of goods is what ignited the Industrial Revolution. Inventions in
the Textile Industry, Watt's Steam Engine, and coal and iron all became factors to the progress
the industrial revolution. These machines and fuels sped up the process of manufacturing to
provide for a growing demand of goods.
In conclusion, the Industrial Revolution sprouted industries and set the foundation to
factory work and mass production.
