FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: March 23, 2010

Sheriff’s Detectives Looking For Kidnapping Suspect

On March 22, 2010, at 11:45am, two Hispanic Males, in a Blue and White Ford Pickup truck,
attempted to abduct a 2 year old child in the 8000 Block of Tapo Lane. The mother of the child
said when she saw the man get out of the truck and grab her child she grabbed the child away
from the man and ran inside her home and called 911.

The truck is described as a mid 80’s model


Ford extended cab truck. It is white with a blue
stripe down both sides and had a large tool box
in the bed of the truck and “off road tires.”

One of the suspects is described as a Hispanic Male, in his 40’s, average


height, with a thin build and a dark mustache. He was last seen wearing a
denim shirt, blue jeans, Cowboy boots and a black cowboy hat. He also
had a strong smell of liquor on his person. (The picture is a forensic
drawing of the suspect.)

The other suspect was the driver and is only described as a Hispanic man.
