UseofProvisioningTechnology
TheEclipseFoundationmakesavailableprovisioningsoftware,examplesofwhichinclude,butarenot
limitedto,p2andtheEclipseUpdateManager("ProvisioningTechnology")forthepurposeofallowing
userstoinstallsoftware,documentation,informationand/orothermaterials(collectively"Installable
Software").Thiscapabilityisprovidedwiththeintentofallowingsuchuserstoinstall,extendandupdate
Eclipsebasedproducts.InformationaboutpackagingInstallableSoftwareisavailableat
http://eclipse.org/equinox/p2/repository_packaging.html("Specification").
YoumayuseProvisioningTechnologytoallowotherpartiestoinstallInstallableSoftware.Youshallbe
responsibleforenablingtheapplicablelicenseagreementsrelatingtotheInstallableSoftwaretobe
presentedto,andacceptedby,theusersoftheProvisioningTechnologyinaccordancewiththe
Specification.ByusingProvisioningTechnologyinsuchamannerandmakingitavailableinaccordance
withtheSpecification,youfurtheracknowledgeyouragreementto,andtheacquisitionofallnecessary
rightstopermitthefollowing:
1. Aseriesofactionsmayoccur("ProvisioningProcess")inwhichausermayexecutethe
ProvisioningTechnologyonamachine("TargetMachine")withtheintentofinstalling,extending
orupdatingthefunctionalityofanEclipsebasedproduct.
2. DuringtheProvisioningProcess,theProvisioningTechnologymaycausethirdpartyInstallable

SoftwareoraportionthereoftobeaccessedandcopiedtotheTargetMachine.
3. PursuanttotheSpecification,youwillprovidetotheuserthetermsandconditionsthatgovernthe
useoftheInstallableSoftware("InstallableSoftwareAgreement")andsuchInstallableSoftware
AgreementshallbeaccessedfromtheTargetMachineinaccordancewiththeSpecification.Such
InstallableSoftwareAgreementmustinformtheuserofthetermsandconditionsthatgovernthe
InstallableSoftwareandmustsolicitacceptancebytheenduserinthemannerprescribedinsuch
InstallableSoftwareAgreement.Uponsuchindicationofagreementbytheuser,theprovisioning
TechnologywillcompleteinstallationoftheInstallableSoftware.

Cryptography
Contentmaycontainencryptionsoftware.Thecountryinwhichyouarecurrentlymayhaverestrictions
ontheimport,possession,anduse,and/orreexporttoanothercountry,ofencryptionsoftware.BEFORE
usinganyencryptionsoftware,pleasecheckthecountry'slaws,regulationsandpoliciesconcerningthe
import,possession,oruse,andreexportofencryptionsoftware,toseeifthisispermitted.
JavaandallJavabasedtrademarksaretrademarksofOracleCorporationintheUnitedStates,othercountries,orboth.
