Targeting
Mr Bajaj made it very clear which segment of the market he was targeting when he said The
Autorickshaw owners and the people who rent them for their daily transport will change how
they see the world after the RE60. Every person who has used a 3 wheeler before will
approve the idea of a quadricycle not just because it has more utility value also because its
cheaper and more spacious . Thus Mr Bajajs target market was the lower middle class
people who used autorickshaws to commute everyday and the autorickshaw owners and
drivers
Positioning
The RE60 is positioned as an environment friendly, cheap auto and car substitute which is
more productive and efficient.
