What country do the Maori tribe live in?


New Zealand is where they originated from. New Zealand is located
on the right of Australia. 87.5% of the Maori tribe are located on the
North Island. They also migrated (with settlers) on the North Island
in the 14th Century. Roughly 15% of New Zealand is made up of the
Maori tribe.

Politics/Land rights?
There are two different type of people in the Maori. The Ariki, with a
'Highest Rank and Seniority', and the Rangatira, 'the Hereditary
Maori leaders of Hapu'. Hapu is a Maori tribe whom has worked on
peaceful undertakings to defend a state. Hapu has the duty of
handing out resources that the Maori may need, government
buildings, land ownership and keeping the Waka (canoe) stable.

Absolute Location?
The Maori Tribe is spread out all over New Zealand. The Absolute
location of New Zealand is 42.0000 degrees Celsius, 174.0000
degrees Celsius. New Zealand is in the South-West of the Pacific
Ocean. There are little tiny island that include Chatham island,
Kernadec island and Auckland island. New Zealand is the Size of
Colorado, USA, North America. Wellington is the capital of New
Zealand is located at the bottom of the North Island, which is where
most of the Maori is located.
