Excel Procedures:
On your database worksheet, click on Data (for office 2003) (Insert for
office 2007), PivotTable and PivotChart Report, Next, on Range-select the
values in the database including the row containing the label, Next, click on New
Worksheet, and click Finish. Drag and drop the variables from the pivot field
list to the column and row fields to form your desired table. Drop A1Name to
the Data Items Field and change the Sum of A1Name to Count of A1Name.
Customize your table and change the coded data to their actual names using
your data coding on worksheet #2.

database using the pivot table and pivot chart reports:
