Using 11 Genesis vehicles, professional drivers are shown carving tire tracks all over the
desert in a pattern invisible to the viewer until the finale.
The stunt symbolizes a growing trend of advertisers using the web to provide extra
value content to build customer interest and loyalty.
It was their attempt to convey that they were a brand beyond simply a mode of
transportation and highlights their philosophy of caring for customers through emotional
interaction.

We study vehicle control through recognition of the drivers gaze, expression, gestures, and speech patterns, and
develop devices suitable for human recognition and behavior, by foreseeing digital technology and conceiving
converged, innovative functions. To apply robotics to automobiles and vice versa, we develop in-vehicle
amenities using algorithmic analysis of human behavior.
Green Tech and Power conservation system:
Under development are silicon carbide power semiconductors that can greatly reduce power loss in the power
conversion system of hybrid and electric cars; high-density batteries for electric cars used for long-distance
driving; and translucent solar cells for generating solar energy from roof glass.
New fuel efficient hybrid cars and energy management technologies:
To meet requirements for better fuel efficiency, performance, product appeal, reliability, and sustainability, we are
developing new ultra-light materials, multifunctional nano materials, and energy management technologies by
applying nano and fusion technologies in the materials area.
