Process-Oriented Performance-Based Assessment

Solar System
Instructional Objective: At the end of forty-five minutes period,
the students will be able to memorize the 9 planets of the solar
system.
Task Design:
The teacher will present a video presentation about the 9
planets of the solar system. After the video presentation the teacher
will discuss the characteristics of each planet. There will be an oral
recitation of the 9 planets and its characteristics after the
discussion of the teacher. Students will be graded using a rubric
made by the teacher.

Lunar Phases
Instructional Objective: At the end of forty-five minutes period,
the students will be able to identify and differentiate the lunar
phases with the aid of Lunar Model.
Task design:
The teacher will discuss the differences of the lunar phases
using the lunar model. After the discussion the teacher will conduct
a moving quiz. The students will identify and differentiate the
phases of the moon presented to each station.
