RULES OF ENGAGEMENT AT SUCCESFACTORS(CASE STUDY)

1. What effect would SuccessFactors rules of engagement have on

employees attitudes?
-it might just force some of the employees to show the types of attitudes that
the company demands whenever they are at work and a different type
whenever they are outside. They might just follow the rules in order not to be
dismissed from work. The set of attitudes will not teach them the true values
that will enable them to grow as a better employees in the workplace
because they are not being taught what the importance of these values are
and why every employee must possess these values. They are just
commanded just to do these things for the profit of the company and so that
they will not be dismissed.

2. Do you think that the companys strong values and Rules of Engagement
help or hurt its performance? Why?
- I think it can hurt the companys performance because the company is
demanding many behaviours for their employees. They do not take into
consideration whether the employees can cope with it. In my opinion, they
must not just demand these behaviours but also assess whether the
employees can handle it, help them with their weaknesses by showing
consideration and giving them chances whenever they violate a rule so that
the employees will not feel that the rules are not harsh or tight to them.

3. How can SuccessFactors screen job applicants to find those who best fit its
values?
-They must conduct a series of psychological tests that will identify whether
the applicants will be fit to the values of the company or if they are not fit,
whether they will be able to adjust if given a chance to enter the company.

4. What else can the company do to reinforce its values with its employees?
-I suggest they conduct recollections that will strengthen the spirituality of
the employees and team buildings that will show and teach them how
important the companys values are for each employees to have and live
with those values.
