GIS ANALYST
ELECTION DATA UNIT
GRADE 14
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:

College degree preferred

1-2 years experience in ARCGIS, Geographical Information System, required
Must have experience in Microsoft Word, Access and Excel applications
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work overtime during peak period
Must be detail oriented and accurate

DUTIES:

Using GIS technology to assign, update and reconcile district information between Cook
County GIS and Clerks VRMS
Using ARCGIS to create, maintain and update precinct boundary information
Create thematic maps based on voter and election data
Assist with various data quality issues using Access and Excel applications
The successful candidate will be required to work on multiple projects with little or no
supervision
Other duties as assigned

HOURLY SALARY:
$20.375 Per Hour
