Communication in the Workplace Activity

Using the article on Moodle or any additional research, explain in detail 5 benefits of
using effective communication in the workplace in the space below:

1. Helps with Diversity

To avoid cultural conflict brought on by misinterpretation, companies can train their

employees to avoid embarrassing situations by improving cultural awareness.

2. Global Business
Effective communication allows businesses to expand into new territories with their
own cultural interpretations. Understanding the new ways to encode a message
helps companies to improve their global presence.

3. Team Building

When team-members can help each other through praise and constructive criticism,
they become more efficient. In understanding their role and its necessity, people
become more productive.

4. Employee Morale
When employees understand exactly what they are meant to do, how they should
do it, and what completing their task is worth, they will be happier. Confusion leads
to frustration.

5. Company/Client Relationship

Clients are people who pay to get something done and effective communication is
paramount to getting the company to produce what the client wants.
