A colonel Juan Domingo Peron implemented

politics to improve working and social
conditions (paid holidays, retirement funds,
etc)
Army thought Peron could be the transition to
democracy to retain power Election:
Justicialismo force is born
When Juan and Eva Peron got to the power,
Argentina was extremely rich due to the
Second World War (the worlds breadbasket)
They built schools and hospitals and provided
help for the poor (clientelism)
