DOCUMENTARY PROJECT:

SCIENCE MONTH
Purpose : A documentary/film about the past , present and future of
science in prior to humanity and the world we live in , describing the co
relation and inter linkages between the two , what it was , what it is
and what/how will it be.
Reason: Showcasing the students unknown familiarity with
science and their viewpoint, through the lens, of experienced
and known familiars of science through interviews and Q&A
session with science teachers, AS and A2 Science students.
Making a point about the strength of wisdom that lies in
science and showing the viewers the intuitiveness of science by
extending and reviewing the stories that the teachers and
students behold relative to the topic.

C ONTENT

OF THE TIMELINE /FILM:

Graphical Intro of the schools logo

Introduction to the topic of the documentary , carried out by a

student with voice overs and footage prior to the topic

Introduction and framework interview by the Principal
Interviews of Science teachers and Supervisors
Q&A Session with 4 A2 students, 5 AS Students and 2 students

from lower grades.

Concluding interview by *to be decided*

MAXIMUM LENGTH TARGETED: 19-21 MINS

During the whole documentary, in between, outwards and inwards, to
maintain the fluency and spotlight of the documentary, school footage
will be shown with voice overs from interviews

Minimum equipment requirements:

DSLR Camera
Microphone
Video and Audio Editing software

PERMISSIONS NEEDED:

To be able to bring the equipments required for the project

Places required for the interviews : Library (Main set) , AS-Commerce room

( Backup Set#1) , Any Free Classroom (Backup Set#2)

Classes required to execute the project : PE and CC lessons
To be able to circulate around the boys section in the mentioned lessons , to
find the right shot/frame for the footage intended

CONDITIONS REGARDING FOOTAGE:

-

The equipment will be brought to the school and kept in the office
Only when the equipment will be needed , itll be taken from the office
After utilizing and shooting , all the footage can be reviewed by any senior if
required

ANY SELECTED STUDENT HAS 100% ELIGIBILITY TO DROP OUT

AND NOT RECORDED ON CAMERA
