No cell phones, so no texting!
If you are early for lab, please wait in the 5 th floor study lounge (by the
elevators). Do not wait in the hallway outside the lab. This is disruptive to
those who have class/offices on this hallway.
Expectations
Arrive at lab on time! We will start promptly at 8.
Prepare for lab by reading the appropriate chapter from the lab manual
and completing all activities beforehand.
Participate in lectures and lab activities.
Grading
Your lab grade is worth 25% of your final grade for the course. You will be given 5
quizzes and 1 written assignments. Your lowest quiz score will be dropped and
the remaining 5 scores will be used to calculate your final lab grade. There will be
no extra credit.
Quizzes
Quizzes will be taken at the start of class. You will not be able to make-up a quiz
if you are late for class. There will be no make-up quizzes.
Quizzes will include lab identification and fill-in-the-blank questions. You will be
given 15 minutes for each quiz. You will be quizzed on the following material:
Quiz 1: Terminology & Osteology + Back
Quiz 2: Upper Limb
Quiz 3: Neck + Head + Brain
Quiz 4: Thorax
Quiz 5: Abdomen
Assignments
You will be given one graded assignments to be completed out of class. This
assignment will involve creating a chart with information about the cranial nerves.
More detailed information about the assignment will be posted on blackboard 2
weeks prior to the assignment due date. This assignment will be due at the start
of class, and one point will be deducted for each day late.
