I collected a reading behavior checklist.

What does this document show?

This document shows the positive reading behaviors that students

demonstrate while reading. The checklist is used to assess how readers are
progressing in reading. Items on the checklist include phonics, fluency,
comprehension, and writing behaviors.

Reflection: What are your thoughts/opinions about this document?

The reading behavior checklist is a document I will use in my future

classroom. It is a great way to keep track of where your students are
academically as readers. It is also a way to see what areas some of your
students may need some extra help. I had the opportunity to work with a
small group of students using this checklist. My cooperating teacher asked
me to find one positive behavior each student demonstrated from the
checklist. Using the checklist guided me on what to look for while listening to
students read.
