Coshocton to launch new Made in the USA City brand

COSHOCTON, OHIO The Coshocton Visitors Bureau is announcing the launch of a new
campaign to rebrand Coshocton as the Made in the USA City and are currently looking for
local businesses interested in participation.
Coshocton County has a long history in the manufacturing industry, and has been the center of
many new industrial and enterprising ideas. Coshocton is the birthplace of the specialty
advertising industry, the beginnings of the March of Dimes organization, the home of Pope
Gosser China, the invention of latex coated gloves, and more. Many of these industries have
come and gone over the years, but we are still proud to employ over 35 percent of our working
population in manufacturing.
As a celebration of our communitys made in the USA heritage, the Coshocton Visitors Bureau
wants to promote businesses in the county that offer American-made goods and services. The
main goal of this new campaign is to create a unified community brand, building local pride and
encouraging profitable traffic to local businesses by creating a unique marketing strategy.
The brand is currently focused on locally owned and operated businesses that offer a variety of
American-made products. Restaurants are included, with consideration for American themed
dishes.
If a business is interested in becoming involved as part of the new Made in the USA City brand,
feel free to contact Jan Myers with the Coshocton Visitors Bureau for more information.
