THE PERFECT GIFTPROVIDE A CHILD WITH HOLIDAY HAPPINESS
Dear Friend,
For over 25 years, the Bluegrass Junior Womans Club (BJWC) has impacted the lives of Fayette County
school children through our Santas Shoppers program. By working hand in hand with the school system, we
are able to provide children and families in need with some of lifes basic comforts around the holidays.
Through generous donations, we can supply each child with new shoes, undergarments, and a warm winter
coat, as well as the opportunity to shop for gifts for their family members. The children are then treated to a
holiday party to wrap the gifts they selected, have lunch and crafts, and a visit from Santa, who presents each
child with a bag full of goodies and presents to take home. As each child leaves the party, the family is sent
with a supply of non-perishable food items, gas cards, and all of the childs items from the day. This
experience becomes a lasting holiday memory for both the children and our club members.
We are reaching out to our friends in the community to help sponsor this program. Although the total cost
averages $200 per child, a $25 minimum tax-deductible donation covers the basic needs for one of these
children. You may donate in your name or give a gift in honor or in memory of someone. Any gift donation
honoree receives a holiday card acknowledging your donation in their name to our wonderful cause. To be a
