Investigation 2

ITCS 1600-F03

I am ISTJ my partner was INTJ, we are similar because we are both introverts, and like to
be organized in our jobs. This would imply that we can work very well together on a team,
because we would both be independent, and organized, as well as having high expectations for
competency.
We are different because I am more of a sensing person, I like to concrete, stable things,
while he prefers abstract, and is more theory based. In a team I would actually say that this
could fit like a puzzle, because we complement each others strengths. I like the logic, and step
by step, which I could then miss something, and because he is about connections, he could see
something I did not know was there.
A time when I intentionally avoided someone because of their differences was for a
project I had to do in high school, I chose more introverted, serious looking people instead of
the ones I thought were extroverts, and outgoing. The reason why was because I thought that
our personalities would not go well working on a serious assignment. I judged them, and
thought that because they were more talkative than I was that they would not be a good fit for
my team. At the end of our projects I actually did talk to one of them, and saw that they were
not bad people at all or not serious about their work, they just had different strategies than I
did for the handling tasks.
