Volunteering, Hobbies, and Skills

Teacher aid at Iron Horse Elementary School
For a period of time in May of 2013 and again in April of 2014, I was a teacher
aid at my local elementary school helping teach math, english, science, and history to
1st and 2nd grades.
Trained in CPR and AED use
Was first licenced in 2012, additionally I have a Water Safety Instructor licence.
Also completed in 2012.
Team building and leadership skills
Coming from all these opportunities I have been given, came responsibility, an
attention to detail, great communication, good lesson planning, leadership skills, and
how to work appropriately with a team.
Photography
Ive been working as an assistant to a studio photographer for three years now,
crafting backdrops, gathering props, setting clients, and occasionally taking the lead on
photo projects.
Skiing

 First started skiing when I was 5 at Alta in Utah and quickly learned and
progressed working with instructors at Keystone resort. Having skied at many areas
including Vail, Beaver Creek, Arapahoe Resort, Keystone, Alta, and Breckinridge makes
for a wide knowledge of different terrains. Additionally, my father has been a ski
instructor for 8 seasons at Keystone Resort.
Skills
Due to my work at Epic Mountain Gear, I am now efficient in working a cash
register, counting money, stocking product, organizing back stock and opening/closing a
store. In working as a ski instructor, I have a year experience at teaching 3-6 year olds a
skiing curriculum at keystone.
Guest services
Being in three jobs that require a level of knowledge on how to interact with the
general public, I have a certain skill set to handle selling and communicating with
customers.
